Myrtle Hallion

Myrtle is 12 years old and lives in Hampshire. She first started riding at the age of 3 on her Shetland pony named Cookie. Myrtle’s stepfather, Mark Hallion, has coached Myrtle up to a competitive standard in Showjumping. Inspired by Mark, Myrtle hopes to one day, make Showjumping her full-time career.

Myrtle now competes 2 ponies and 1 horse. In 2019, she was selected to jump at the Liverpool International Horse Show on her 138 pony called Sox. They finished 6th as part of the only girl team with teammate Chloe Aston.

2019 has been Myrtle’s most successful year as she placed in most of her competitions. She also travelled across to Holland to compete in an international show called ‘Future Stars’ where she managed to come 1st and 2nd on her new 148 pony named Quantico.

As well as all of this, Myrtle can be seen in many of the Animo marketing campaigns. She has recently featured in magazines such as ‘Your Horse,’ ‘Pony Magazine’ and ‘British Showjumping Magazine.’
